Whether you choose one of the general admission digs or a quartz pocket dig, we want to make sure you come knowing a bit about the mine’s general rules and suggested tools/attire to bring.
Hours of Operation: 9:00 AM - 3:30PM (7 days a week*)
*Weather permitting; closed on Christmas
General Admission Digs: $25/adult or $100/adult per day; kids 10 & under receive discount.
Crystal Pocket Digs: Pockets start at $300/day. Call Bobby to reserve (please give at least 2 day notice.)
Upon Arrival in the Parking Lot: Walk to the trailer to check in, pay and sign paperwork. A Twin Creek Crystal Mine employee will walk through the do’s and don’ts while at the mine.
Due to poor internet reception, electronic payments at the mine are not accepted at this time.
Suggested Digging Attire and What to Bring:
Help protect yourself from the direct sun: Bottles of water, lightweight pants, long sleeve sun shirt, closed toe shoes, brimmed hat, digging gloves, portable shade source.
Tool bag with plastic hand rake, small shovel, flat chisels, 2-5lb hammers, sharpened dig bar.
Cloth bags or buckets with handles, Newspaper to protect crystals when transporting.
